A six-story residential building, Eyuhwum officially opened on July 27th, 2022, providing 96 units of true affordable housing in the heart of Duncan.

The KDC entered into a limited liability partnership with WestUrban to complete the project at 300 Government St, and was privileged to have the opportunity to name the building. We were honoured to be able to use the name Eyuhwum, as it holds deep meaning to the land, representing the descendants who owned these lands.

Now Renting

Our roundtable members were actively involved throughout the construction phase, and one of our members came on board to gain their apprenticeship hours.

This beautiful building offers our members affordable living options and increases the supply of housing in a very limited market. Eyuhwum is fully rented out, and currently has a waitlist.

This project is a perfect example of how industry collaboration with the Nation can benefit not just our own members, but the community as a whole.
